Community Rules

This is a Vaishnava community: events, communities, service, and news. The rules are short and have one purpose — so that people can trust each other here.

1. Respect. No insults, harassment, threats, or hostility towards people because of faith, origin, gender, or anything else.
2. News means accountable updates. A news item has an author who stands behind it. This is not a place for open argument or rumour.
3. Be truthful. Do not impersonate another person, community, or temple, and do not claim service that is not yours.
4. Respect other people's privacy. Do not publish other people's personal details, and do not forward private messages without consent.
5. No spam or pushy advertising. Requests for money and sensitive service topics — health, treatment, legal and financial matters, family support, and others — can be sent for human review or blocked.
6. Describe service honestly. Do not promise medical, legal, or financial outcomes; say what you can actually do.
7. Direct messages. Anyone signed in can message you first until you turn that off in chat settings. You can block someone, and you can report a message.
8. Reporting. A Report control exists on records, comments, profiles, and chat messages. If you report a chat message, a copy of its text is stored and moderators can see it — including from a private conversation.
9. What happens when a rule is broken. A record or comment can be hidden or removed; an account can lose the ability to post and comment. A person makes that decision. There is no formal appeal process yet: write to [email protected].
10. People's safety. Accounts are for adults aged 18 or older only. The site has no minors safeguarding programme; anyone under 18 should not create an account or submit personal data. If someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services — this site is not an emergency service.
