To work, this site stores some information in your browser — in cookies, in local storage, and in session storage. Everything we store is listed below, with its purpose and how long it lasts.
We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural analytics, session replay, heatmaps, or cross-site tracking.

In addition, the Supabase library writes and immediately removes one temporary lswt-… key at start-up to test whether storage is available. Nothing is kept.
Offline copies and the service worker. The site registers a service worker, /sw.js. It keeps the application's own files, the "You are offline" page, and copies of recently opened public pages (Home and the Events, Communities, Services, and News lists) and public images in the browser's Cache Storage, so they open without a connection. Personal pages, account pages, chat, server responses, and anything that needs sign-in are never stored. The number of copies is capped and older ones are removed automatically; copies of pages and images are removed when you sign out.
Pages saved for offline reading. Public events, communities, services, and news you open are also saved in the browser's IndexedDB database nrisimha-offline: the public page text, a resized cover image, and when it was saved and last opened. At most 30 pages and 25 MB are kept, oldest removed first. A copy is deleted when the page stops being public, when you sign out, and with Clear in account settings.
Push notifications. If you explicitly enable notifications and grant browser permission, the same service worker starts receiving them, and the server stores your delivery endpoint, your browser's keys, and a shortened user-agent string. None of this happens unless you enable it.
The place saved for panchanga. Coordinates come from a curated city list — a city centre, not your device's location. They are also saved to your profile and are available only to signed-in members. Clear saved location removes them from both the device and the profile.

None of these load before you act, except Supabase, without which the site cannot work.
How to refuse and how to erase
- Your browser settings can delete or block cookies and storage for this site. Deleting the sign-in data simply signs you out.
- Clear, next to recent searches, removes them.
- Clear saved location removes the place from the device and from your profile.
- The chat-notification toggle turns notifications off on this device.
- Signing out removes saved copies of pages and images; clearing this site's data in your browser settings removes them and the service worker.
- Clear, under Offline reading in account settings, deletes the pages saved for offline reading.
- Sign out of all devices, in account settings, ends your sessions and clears account data on this device. Other devices are signed out at their next contact with the server, not instantly.
Age: Accounts are for adults aged 18 or older only. The site has no minors safeguarding programme; anyone under 18 should not create an account or submit personal data.
