Community Policy
Communities are persistent owned spaces for announcements, joining questions, Events, Services, and practical coordination.
Owned spaces
Every Community needs an accountable owner/admin. Community owners are responsible for accuracy, moderation inside their scope, and clear next steps for users.
Communities are not open forums. They exist as hubs for Events, Services, News, joining questions, announcements, and practical coordination.
Controlled types and labels
Community type should use clear labels such as Temple, Local Community, Bhakti Vriksha, Namahatta, Eco Village, Festival Hub, Online Community, Education / Study, Volunteer Group, or Youth / Family.
Community scope should be shown as Global or Place-based. Avoid public community labels such as hybrid or mode unless the model later defines a separate meeting-format field.
Verification labels must be precise and must not imply official spiritual or institutional endorsement unless actually confirmed by the relevant authority.
Creation and review
Community creation should be restricted to trusted users or require review because persistent spaces can imply authority and need accountable moderation.
Duplicate communities, unclear ownership, misleading names, or risky claims may be held for review or redirected to an existing owned space.
